Ella & Giorgi - A marriage of two cultures

Ella and Giorgi's wedding represented more than a marriage between a bride and groom.  It was a merging of two distinct cultures and countries.

Ella is from the Philipines.  Giorgi is from the country of Georgia.   They met in medical school.  Their wedding was a blending of parts of both of their traditions as well as some American customs.  Their parents, friends and family flew in from around the country and the globe for their special day.

The couple was married at the Greek Orthodox church in a beautiful ceremony filled with traditional parts of the churches beliefs including the candles, the crowns, the Common cup and the dance of Isaiah.

After the ceremony, everyone gathered at Union Station Hotel Nashville for a reception filled with family.  The family members made touching speeches.

The bride and groom even took time to enjoy the photo booth.
